Stressful from work? Tired with routines of your life? Why don't you have a sneak peak? I've visited Cape Rachado or known as Tanjung Tuan in Melaka in February 2010. It's a fantastic short trip for a relaxation from a stressful working life. You will enjoy the jungle trekking and its scenery.

We start our trekking from the beach towards top hill. At the top of the hill, you will find a fort-like structure lighthouse. The Cape Rachado Lighthouse or "Rumah Api Tanjung Tuan" is the oldest lighthouse in the country built by the Portuguese in the 16th century. During Portuguese colonial, it is believed that the lighthouse is a point to view trade and enemy ships that sailed close to the coast. Now, you will find a MEASAT radar is placed at the lighthouse for transmissions and telecommunications purposes.

Welcome to Tanjung Tuan |
It was a wonderful sight seeing in the evening at Tanjung Tuan. The trekking is a good exercise and you just have entered a clean environment where you can feel the fresh air towards the hill. The beach is a great place for fun too. A hotel called Cape Rachado Resort is available here if you ever wanna stay for a holiday.
